RETRO CASTS Retro Casts is dedicated to preserving a lost art form - the traditional plaster cast and the artwork they often inspired. Alas, nowadays these works of sculpture have been replaced with hideous monstrosities resembling something from the film Robocop. Now in searchable database format, these pages will showcase the creme de la creme of genuine historical cast photos collected together in one place from various sources. Old photos either colour or black & white from the traditional print media, school yearbooks or social media sites will all qualify. It is important to capture these images because web blogs and such tend to come & go. Scroll down to submit your own images. Please do not submit copyrighted material from any of the major cast sites as aside from being someone elses work, it does not qualify as vintage. All submissions must be plaster!
